Service-oriented, distributed real-time systems in digital libraries
Abstract
The article considers the problems of building service-oriented real-time web applications. In particular, to predict the execution time of highly loaded applications, provided that the load is stationary, it is proposed to use the Erlang model with an infinite-length queue. We also propose a new algorithm for adaptive runtime prediction. As a practical implementation, we tested our proposals on a system for performing ontology classification inference and execution time planning.
