GPS coordinates processing with kalman filtration

Abstract


This article describes a way to filter the navigation data, allowing to increase the accuracy of determining the location of tracked objects. The sources and formats for obtaining information on the location of modern mobile communication devices are analyzed. The reasons for the error in determining the location obtained from various sources were determined. A method for filtering data to exclude inaccurate coordinates was proposed. This method allowed to increase the accuracy of constructing the track of the object's motion. The adequacy and effectiveness of the presented method are confirmed by the results of the analysis of the experimental data.
