Abstract

16 October 2008 marked the 70th anniversary of the birth of a scientist renowned in Ukraine and beyond for his work in the fields of computer science, programming, information systems, databases and knowledge, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Deputy Academician-Secretary of the Department of Computer Science at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Honoured Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, and Director of the Institute of Software Systems at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Pylyp Ilarionovych ANDON.
