The usage of ontologies for semantics analysis of texts on natural language

Abstract


Usage of ontologies for the automated semantic markup of natural language texts according to morphological and syntactic properties of natural language (in particular, of Ukrainian language), domain structures and user knowledge of that domain is proposed. An algorithm that performs recognition of words and named entities related to certain concepts of user domainat in NL texts (for example, with ontological terms) is developed. For obtaining semantic markup suitable for processing by the various distributed systems, it is expedient to use Semantic Web technologies.
